Project of cooperation with TU Košice

Development of a modular system for control of Energy blocks.

In 2017, ENERGO CONTROL in cooperation with the Technical University of Košice, has started a software development project applicable in the field of power station control. The development is based on many years of professional experience of ENERGO CONTROL's technical staff and on theoretical support of research activities of the acadeic capacities of TUKE (Technical University of Košice).

The development is based on the SIEMES hardware resources but with the intention of possible implementation into a development environment of any system with DCS characteristics. The project focuses on a development and implementation of a prototype of the universal emulator of energy systems that forms the basis of the equipment for industrial production and consumption of electric energyin power plants, heating plants and large industrial plants. Such tool allows a user for systematic and rational design of energy plants (e.g. small hydro and thermo-electric power plants, heating plants, etc.), which guarantees effective creating of quality implementation projects (i.e. in a short time, with high degree of the implementation reliability and at low cost) for energy apparatuses and cost savings at their real implementation. Universality and scalability of the emulator is provided by its implementation on the basis of the industrially produced DCS system. The main subject of the development within the project will be: models of individual energy sub‐systems, their verification by experimentally obtained data, realization of parameterized emulator program modules, their visualization and verification of the emulator prototype during a control of a small hydro-electric power plant.
