The Vojany Power Plant is the largest traditional power plant in Slovakia. With its total installed capacity of 1320 MW it is the largest thermal power plant in Slovakia. The main role of the Vojany Power Plant is to provide high-quality support services to transmission and electricity grid of the Slovak Republic, safe and reliable, with a minimum impact on the environment. Combustion of biomass contributes to the fulfilment of the aim to operate the power plants in a cleaner, more environment friendly way. An important contribution of the Vojany Power Plant for the electricity grid of Slovakia is represented by the wide range of regulation output, especially of units 5 and 6 EVO I.
The Energo Control Ltd. company has participated in many projects of modernisation and reconstruction, especially of the Control and Regulation System and Heavy Current Operating Distribution:
- Reconstruction of DEMI of EVO 1 station
Removal of ammonia from plaster suspension in EVO 1 - Modernisation of TG1 and TG2 in EVO 1
- Repair of regulators of output in EVO1 and EVO2
- Repair of TELEPERM XP control system in EVO 1
- Optimisation of combustion in EVO 1
- Renewal of TG15 – Supply and installation of control and regulation system
- Fire protection measures in the Vojany Power Plant – Modernisation of coaling control system
- Exchange of EVO Damatic XD operator workplaces for desulphurisation and stabiliser
Optimalizácia spaľovania Biomasy a Uhlia
V rokoch 2017, 2018, bola v závode EVO Vojany realizovaná aplikácia ekologizácia prevádzky dávkovaním drevoštiepky do fluidného kotla B15 a spoluspaľovaním uhlia a drevoštiepky. Aplikácia dávkovania drevoštiepky pri nábehu bloku bola navrhnutá za účelom zvýšenie ekonomickej efektivity. Na Fluidnom Kotli B16 bola za rovnakým účelom ekologizácia prevádzky aplikácia dávkovania drevených peletiek a spoluspaľovanie uhlia a peletiek. Aplikácia dávkovania peletiek pri nábehu bloku, preukázala zvýšenie ekonomickej efektivity.
